CMT Chemist

Responsibilities

• Manage the timely manufacture, release, and delivery of commercial peptide products throughout the entire production process
• Ensure smooth batch throughput and adherence to production, quality, and delivery targets
• Analyze process, quality, and performance data to identify and implement optimization measures
• Drive Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Coordinate the handling of deviations, OOS/OOE cases, and CAPA measures
• Collaborate closely with Production, QA, QC, Supply Chain, and TechOps to ensure product supply
• Support audits, inspections, and customer inquiries as a representative of the manufacturing area
• Participate in product lifecycle, change control, and regulatory activities post-approval

Requirements

• University degree (Bachelor, Master, or PhD) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field
• Professional experience in a GMP-regulated environment, ideally within the Pharma or CDMO industry
• Knowledge of peptide manufacturing or pharmaceutical production processes
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of SAP or similar systems is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in project management or cross-functional team collaboration
• Strong interest in data-driven decision-making and process optimization
