CMOS Memory Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop CMOS embedded memories including single-port SRAM, dual-port SRAM, register files, ROM, and CAM
• Perform circuit simulations using SPICE-based tools to validate high-speed, low-power, or high-density architectures
• Create and review schematics and supervise layout planning and execution
• Verify physical design using layout parasitic extraction and DRC/LVR tools
• Develop and verify bit cells in close collaboration with layout teams
• Write and maintain C-Shell and Perl scripts to automate design verification and validation workflows
• Document design decisions, simulation results, and verification reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field
• Hands-on experience or coursework in CMOS memory design and circuit simulation
• Working knowledge of memory layout design, parasitic extraction, and layout verification tools
• Scripting capability in C-Shell and Perl for design automation tasks
• Strong analytical skills for debugging simulation mismatches or layout issues
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with C++ or JavaScript
• Ability to communicate clearly in English within a global team environment
