CMM Programmer

Responsibilities

• Program and operate various coordinate measurement systems, optical measurement systems, and specialized inspection systems
• Create and edit CMM programs and provide hands-on training to first article and last article inspectors
• Participate in inspection and testing activities to ensure parts meet manufacturing standards and specifications
• Review manufacturing planning and design drawings to suggest improvements to inspection criteria
• Collaborate with NC Programmers and Process Engineering to improve inspection methods and troubleshoot manufacturing processes
• Take ownership of assigned parts, including inspection, FAIR, and PPAP requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation, tooling, and part identification following company operating procedures and 5S best practices

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Two or more years of technical education or equivalent
• Minimum of five years of directly related experience
• Ability to read and correctly interpret complex blueprints, quality, and process specifications
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and meet specific strength and reach requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MODUS software
• Experience with Renishaw Equator System, Renishaw REVO System, and Renishaw UCC Server software
