CMM Programmer

Responsibilities

• Write fixed-bed CMM programs to execute complex inspections
• Work with Quality and Design Engineers to ensure inspections meet customer and internal requirements
• Continuously improve inspection processes
• Plan and execute First Article Inspections in coordination with Quality Engineers and Technicians
• Ensure Quality technicians accurately execute inspection plans
• Advise engineering on tolerancing and inspection methods during design and development
• Act as a subject matter expert for GD&T

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in engineering or a similar technical field with 1+ years of CMM programming experience, OR 5+ years of CMM programming experience
• Demonstrated expertise with coordinate measurement machines and associated software (PC-DMIS preferred)
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and acceptance test procedures
• Full knowledge of reading geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience operating within AS9100 and ISO9001 facilities

Preferred Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector
