CMM Programmer

Responsibilities

• Develop CMM inspection programs for aerospace components
• Work with Manufacturing, Quality, and Design Engineering teams to produce inspection processes
• Provide technical expertise in machining process development and quality verification
• Program multiple CMMs supporting various machining processes and products
• Provide formatted reports for engineering, CNC programs, and operators
• Interpret prints developed with GD&T standards
• Edit legacy CMM programs and develop probing and fixturing solutions
• Mentor entry level personnel in CMM operation
• Pursue new manufacturing technology and process improvement techniques
• Perform inspection as needed

Requirements

• 2 years QC experience in aerospace or comparable industry
• CNC CMM Programming experience
• Proficient in GD&T (ASME Y14.5-2018)
• Proficient with hand gages (micrometers, dial indicators, profilometers, etc.)
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift a minimum of 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• ISO 17025
• AS9100
• Experience in tooling and fixturing design
• Experience using CAD models for inspection
