CMM Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform precision inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T to validate part accuracy
• Use precision tools including micrometers, calipers, thread gages, and gage pins to verify dimensions
• Analyze inspection data and collaborate with CNC and manufacturing teams on results
• Identify and communicate quality concerns proactively to the department
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in inspection and quality processes
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Requirements

• Basic understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
• Experience using measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, thread gages, and gage pins
• Proficiency with basic math and computer systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate results
