Cluster Manager, Cleaning and Waste

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and operational integration for cleaning and waste management across assigned venue clusters
• Develop venue-specific cleaning and waste management plans aligned with the operating model
• Oversee contractor performance, service levels, and contractual requirements
• Conduct venue inspections and operational reviews to verify service quality
• Manage waste collection, hauling, diversion performance, and contamination levels
• Partner with Sustainability, Food & Beverage, and Logistics teams on recycling and composting initiatives
• Serve as the primary escalation point for venue-level operational issues during Games-time
• Track and report key performance indicators including waste volumes and service response times

Requirements

• 5+ years in venue operations, event operations, facilities management, or related disciplines
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, and service providers in complex environments
• Experience managing service contracts and performance standards
• Strong organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple venues and workstreams simultaneously
• Proficiency in problem-solving within fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning operations, waste management, and diversion programs
• Experience in sports, entertainment, hospitality, or major event operations
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Hospitality, or Environmental Science
• OSHA 10/30, ISSA, or sustainability-related certifications
