Cluster Facilities Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of maintenance and grounds team members, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Develop and implement maintenance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure regulatory compliance
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify and prioritize repairs
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs to prolong asset life and minimize disruptions
• Manage maintenance budgets and expenditures while seeking cost-effective solutions
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to negotiate contracts and oversee on-site work
• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and address owner concerns professionally
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and work orders

Requirements

• Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in senior living or hospitality
• Multi-site or dual-site management experience preferred
• Relevant qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification or similar health and safety training
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and budget management skills
• Knowledge of building regulations, health, safety, and environmental standards
• Proficiency in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Technical knowledge of general trades and pool plant operator knowledge preferred
