Cluster Collections Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Collection Executives and collaborate with third-party recovery agencies to meet targets.
• Drive the collections process for the assigned cluster, monitoring KPIs such as resolution rates and delinquency buckets.
• Take ownership of portfolio delinquency rates and implement strategies to control roll rates and minimize overdue payments.
• Develop and execute tailored collections strategies based on data analysis and portfolio health.
• Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct daily monitoring and regular reviews of the delinquent portfolio, preparing performance reports and proposed solutions.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in collections.
• 1-2 years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach a high-performing team.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, especially when working under pressure.
• Proactive and effective communication skills for interacting with team members, management, and agencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a bank, new-age NBFC, or Fintech company.
