About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support affiliated sporting clubs in designing and delivering participation and performance programs for diverse students
  • Coordinate club-facing activities including Orientation, forums, meetings, and annual surveys
  • Advise club leaders on governance, compliance, and risk management, including adherence to the Gender-based Violence Code
  • Manage operational support such as facility bookings, funding processes, records, and performance data
  • Provide strategic insights on budgets, facilities, and industry trends to strengthen club operations

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Movement, Sport, or Recreation Management (or equivalent relevant experience)
  • Experience planning and managing sport participation or performance programs, ideally within community clubs
  • Strong understanding of community sporting club operations, including governance and volunteer management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with students and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
