Cloud Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and integrate AWS-based cloud infrastructure globally
• Contribute to innovative solutions to improve system performance and reliability
• Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and meet system specifications
• Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including design specs and test plans
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree)
• 5-12 years of experience in systems engineering or a related role
• Strong knowledge of AWS and Terraform for cloud solutions
• Experience with Java
• Experience integrating external hardware or database data into internal workflows using MongoDB
• Ability to travel internationally 30-40%
• Must possess an active passport or be able to obtain one immediately upon hire

• Proficiency in various programming and scripting languages

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments
