About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable software applications using Python
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code practices
- Oversee the deployment of cloud services and ensure compliance with security guidelines
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and team collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products
- Contribute to new codebases emphasizing object orientation, modularity, and maintainability
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
- Strong proficiency in Python
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Experience with Kubernetes and Helm charts
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and microservice architectures
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification
- Security+ or equivalent security certification
