Cloud Security IAM Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles, policies, and security controls across AWS and GCP environments.
• Build automation, reusable libraries, and self-service capabilities to enable secure permission management for developers.
• Deliver IAM solutions through CI/CD pipelines, incorporating automated testing, validation, and quality checks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IAM implementations align with cloud security requirements and enterprise standards.
• Partner with engineering and platform teams to strengthen cloud identity governance and reduce manual access processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues across cloud platforms to ensure timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-native services in AWS or GCP.
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise security solutions in Financial Services or large, complex global environments.
• 3+ years of experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• 3+ years of proficiency in programming languages including Python, Go, or Java.
• 3+ years of experience developing and securing SOAP and REST-based web service APIs.
• 3+ years of experience working with DevOps and Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• 3+ years of experience with unit testing frameworks such as Behave, pytest, or JUnit.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model (minimum 3 days onsite in Dallas, TX) and travel approximately 10%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
• Proven experience building automation to improve security controls and identity governance.
• Strong ability to deliver technical demonstrations and lead project workstreams.
