Cloud Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud security tools within Google and Azure cloud environments.
• Collaborate with global teams to execute support and project initiatives.
• Adapt SDLC processes to leverage cloud security tools, aiming to shift-left vulnerability detection and remediation.
• Work with vendors and technology teams to maintain security compliance and software currency.
• Develop tools and scripts for teams and end users using various cloud and application security tools.
• Report on the status of internal controls and provide recommendations for risk remediation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience in Java, Javascript, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• 3+ years of experience deploying solutions to Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• 3+ years of experience working in Agile, DevSecOps, and secure SDLC methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with system administration and DevSecOps support for Linux, Windows, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with software and system architecture.
• Experience creating technical documentation.
• Strong organizational, time management, and analytical problem-solving skills.
