Cloud Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in the evolution of guidelines and standards for cloud platforms including workload protection, networking, and infrastructure security
• Define best practices and align ways of working within the engineer community
• Implement security controls in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure operations
• Support platform and business teams in implementing technical measures for security, privacy, and IT compliance
• Assist engineering teams in addressing vulnerabilities and audit findings
• Support cyber defense and enterprise architects in remediating identified risks and security alerts

Requirements

• Cloud security experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Google Cloud, or AWS
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Policy as Code using Terraform
• Experience driving container security best practices including image hardening and admission control
• Ability to design and implement controls across cloud platforms for build, test, and deployment
• Knowledge of cloud networking security, firewalls, load balancers, and identity-driven access models
• Experience with security logging integration across cloud infrastructure
• Experience securing complex enterprise platforms like SAP
• Experience with LLMs, AI, and agentic coding platforms such as GitHub Co-pilot, Gemini, or Claude Code
• Proven experience as a security subject-matter expert
