Cloud Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Securely deploy and maintain infrastructure across multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI
• Implement Kubernetes cluster hardening, including RBAC, network policies, and admission controllers
• Develop and enforce robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and least-privilege architectures
• Manage container security for images, registries, and runtime environments using tools like Docker and Podman
• Use Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK for secure deployments
• Maintain Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) using tools like Wiz to remediate misconfigurations
• Automate compliance checks and generate audit evidence across multi-cloud environments
• Monitor and protect running applications and containers from runtime threats

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or security engineering
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes security and containerized workloads
• Experience implementing AI to identify and remediate security issues
• Deep operational security experience with AWS
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
• Hands-on expertise with CSPM platforms like Wiz
• Strong background in designing complex IAM and least-privilege architectures
• Experience with container security, image scanning, and runtime protection

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced industry certifications (AWS Certified Security, CKS, or CKA)
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or C++
• Experience automating compliance frameworks
• Experience securing air-gapped or highly constrained on-premises environments
