Cloud Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Securely deploy and maintain infrastructure across multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
• Implement Kubernetes cluster hardening, including RBAC, network policies, and admission controllers.
• Develop and enforce robust IAM policies and least-privilege architectures across cloud and container levels.
• Manage infrastructure and security policies using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Maintain Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) using platforms like Wiz to detect and remediate misconfigurations.
• Ensure container security through effective use of image scanning and runtime protection tools.
• Automate compliance checks and generate evidence for audits across the multi-cloud footprint.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software or security engineering with a focus on production-grade cloud systems.
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes security, including securing containerized workloads and secret management.
• Deep operational security experience with AWS.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Hands-on expertise with CSPM platforms like Wiz.
• Strong background in designing complex IAM and least-privilege architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced industry certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CKS, or CKA.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages like Go, Python, or C++.
• Experience automating compliance frameworks and generating audit evidence.
• Experience securing air-gapped or highly constrained on-premises environments.
