Cloud Security Architect

Responsibilities

• Own cloud security operations and posture management across a multi-cloud environment
• Partner with cloud platform and development teams to integrate security requirements early in the build process
• Manage the cloud security posture management (CSPM) platform, including configuring findings and driving remediation
• Enforce cloud security policies and guardrails across identity, network security, and data access
• Conduct threat hunting and manage detection coverage to harden systems against adversary techniques
• Serve as the subject matter expert for application design, cloud, network, and platform security

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive information security experience
• 4–6 years of direct, hands-on cloud security exposure
• Hands-on experience with at least two major cloud platforms
• Experience operating a CSPM or CNAPP platform
• Experience with cloud security policy enforcement, such as guardrails or policy-as-code
• Background in security operations, including alert triage, investigation, and incident response
• Strong written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Expertise in Kubernetes and container security
• Experience with "shift-left" security, including IaC pipeline security and CI/CD integration
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as HIPAA, ISO 27001, SOC, or PCI
• Certifications such as Microsoft AZ-500, AWS Security Specialty, CCSP, or CISSP
