Cloud Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and support automated cloud platform solutions for AWS, Azure, and GCP to improve speed to market
• Participate in two-week agile sprints, including planning, implementation, demos, and retrospectives
• Develop automated processes and hand them off to internal development and operations teams for self-service implementation
• Collaborate with DevOps Engineering and Enablement teams to promote development and operations best practices
• Maintain continuous learning to stay current with developments in Azure, AWS, and GCP
• Communicate with internal teams regarding platform updates or unexpected outages

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working with public cloud infrastructure (specifically IaaS and PaaS solutions)
• 5+ years of experience in technical software or infrastructure engineering teams
• Proficiency with Git-based systems for source control management
• Experience with large-scale server and network management technology
• Strong understanding of global network design and inter-networking
• Experience in security engineering, including server/network hardening, auditing, and reporting
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the healthcare industry
• BA in a computer-related field
• Industry certifications in Public Cloud Infrastructure (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure MCSA/MCSE)
