Cloud Platform Engineer/DevOps, Officer

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and engineer scalable SaaS Cloud platforms using Microsoft Azure.
• Lead the implementation of Azure infrastructure, networking, and shared services.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform to manage modular and reusable environments.
• Manage Kubernetes (AKS) cluster lifecycles, including worker node scaling and capacity planning.
• Implement GitOps processes using ArgoCD for multi-module application deployment.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines.
• Ensure all cloud solutions adhere to strict security, compliance, and resource governance controls.
• Research emerging cloud technologies and conduct POCs to drive business value and innovation.
• Provide subject matter expertise on IaaS and PaaS services to engineering and product teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 10+ years of cloud deployment experience.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in Terraform (HCL) and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and container orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of GitOps, ArgoCD, and Azure Pipelines.
• Experience with shell scripting or Python scripting.
• Proficiency with Git for version control and trunk-based development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure Cloud Platform Certification.
• Experience with Terragrunt and managing complex Terraform state files.
• Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana for troubleshooting and monitoring.
• Experience managing secrets via Azure Key Vault.
