Responsibilities

  • Build and operate cloud infrastructure powering mission-critical aviation systems
  • Develop and improve core infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code
  • Work with Kubernetes-based systems and deployment pipelines
  • Partner with backend, product, and platform engineers to deploy services
  • Improve observability and respond to real production challenges
  • Scale distributed systems and build automation to reduce operational toil

Requirements

  • Experience building and operating production-grade cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes and containerized environments
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Helm
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalability
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana or Prometheus
  • Experience operating and supporting 24/7 production systems
  • Proficiency in leveraging modern LLM tools to accelerate development workflows

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to regulated cloud environments like FedRAMP
  • Familiarity with progressive deployment techniques like canary releases
  • Experience with high-availability systems and "four nines" reliability
