Cloud Packet Core Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide service delivery and support for telecommunication operators in North and South America.
• Participate in the design, deployment, integration, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting of 4G and 5G packet core solution elements.
• Work directly with customers and stakeholders to provide system integration, rollout, optimization, and problem resolution.
• Apply technical knowledge in Linux, TCP/IP, Containers (Kubernetes, OpenStack), and Virtualization technology to enable data capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, simplification, and knowledge sharing within a diverse engineering team.
• Address complex technical challenges and remove barriers during integration activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering or a related field qualification.
• Business level proficiency in English (B2-C1 or equivalent).
• Up to 3 years of experience in the Telecom industry, including at least 1 year in external customer management.
• Strong domain knowledge in Packet Core (4G and 5G).
• Hands-on experience with 4G elements (MME, EPG, SAPC, DSC) for deployment and troubleshooting.
• Proven hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Linux, TCP/IP, and OpenStack.
• Ability to travel outside of Mexico and flexibility to work according to Pacific Time Zone demands.
