Cloud Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build cloud-native network infrastructure that provides high levels of scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Innovate in an automation-forward environment, building tools and platforms to scale network infrastructure.
• Interface across teams to codify and reliably test infrastructure changes using the software development lifecycle.
• Maintain, support, and modernize local network infrastructure in our NY and SF offices.
• Actively participate in code and configuration reviews, on-call duties, and resolving critical production issues.
• Craft solid designs, playbooks, and documentation for the larger engineering organization.

Requirements

• Strong experience in resilient and distributed cloud network infrastructure, including VPN architecture and firewall configuration.
• Expertise in observability platforms such as Observium and Datadog.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation using orchestration tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working in production environments with high uptime requirements and measurable SLAs.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Advanced Networking or other relevant AWS certifications.
• Experience with AWS Transit Gateway and AWS Landing Zone.
• Expertise in Palo Alto firewalls and networking.
• Experience with Aruba WLAN infrastructure.
