Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) L2 Support

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve OCI infrastructure incidents and service requests.
• Monitor OCI resources to ensure platform availability and high availability of workloads.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions to reduce repeat incidents.
• Support cloud provisioning, maintenance, optimization, patching, and upgrades.
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations.
• Support OCI Compute, OKE, Autonomous Database, Storage services, VCN, IAM, and Load Balancers.
• Collaborate with application teams to resolve platform-related issues.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or L2 support.
• Hands-on experience with OCI Compute, OKE, and Database services.
• Proficiency with OCI Storage services (Block, Object, and File Storage).
• Strong networking knowledge including VCN, Security Lists, Route Tables, Load Balancers, and FastConnect.
• Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and IDCS.
• Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL, Oracle Linux, CentOS, or Ubuntu).
• Experience with Windows Server administration.
• Solid understanding of Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• OCI Foundations, Architect Associate, or Operations Associate certifications.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Exposure to IBM Cloud Infrastructure or Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting, Python, or PowerShell.
