Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end Platform architecture and roadmap focused on design, security, testing, and performance
• Manage and scale cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform using Cloud Native and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using continuous integration/delivery tools
• Deploy container orchestration technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
• Lead in-depth technical and data analysis to gauge service trends and drive improvements
• Coach and mentor a team of cloud infrastructure engineers
• Participate in major incident root cause analysis and blameless post-mortem activities
• Manage on-call responsibilities and coordinate crisis communication

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in architecting, designing, and implementing cloud solutions on GCP
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS)
• Strong experience in Linux systems, networking, monitoring, and automation
• Proficiency with Terraform, Bash, Shell, or Python
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, and ELK
• Familiarity with MongoDB, Redis, and other distributed systems
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
