Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for Cloud Services and On-Premises Datacenters, including provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Implement and manage regular backup operations, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
• Manage capacity planning and perform continuous system and network monitoring
• Verify and rectify system security configurations to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Support patch installation and conduct regular Cloud Services health checks to ensure high availability
• Design and implement security solutions to meet business and security requirements
• Act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure and security operational issues
• Participate in infrastructure, network, and security projects

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
• Hands-on experience administering multi-cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Experience with Linux solutions
• Proficiency in scripting and automation

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant security or infrastructure certifications (e.g., Azure Solution Architect Expert, AWS Solution Architect Pro, RHCSA, VCP, or CISSP)
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
