Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage operations teams (contractors) to maintain and support secure products for Whole-Of-Government.
• Work closely with Internal Service Management to develop and enhance business functions and processes.
• Analyze the impact of requested changes and propose improvements to address evolving business needs.
• Ensure the card production system is properly managed and coordinated without disruption to business operations.
• Collaborate with agencies to understand and meet their requirements in a timely and effective manner.
• Track and manage change requests for project governance and provide regular updates to higher management.
• Evaluate and propose hardware and software upgrades, such as tech refreshes, for end-user equipment.
• Perform and maintain project asset inventories, including regular hardware and software license audits.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and endpoint devices (e.g., servers, laptop peripherals).
• Experience with Card Production or PKI is preferred.
• Experience in IT business analysis and quality assurance testing.
• Basic network troubleshooting skills.
• ITIL service operations certification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of IT asset management systems and inventory processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical teams and senior management.
