Cloud Enterprise Architect

Responsibilities

• Provide SETA support delivering enterprise-level cloud architecture guidance, security compliance, and technical strategy for national security mission systems.
• Ensure architectural consistency, interoperability, and integration across enterprise cloud solutions.
• Develop and enforce architectural governance frameworks and decision records (ADRs).
• Lead security architecture reviews and support Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes using the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Advise government stakeholders on cloud adoption, vendor selection, and emerging technologies.
• Contribute expertise in systems engineering lifecycle processes, MLOps pipeline design, and Data Mesh architectures.
• Define enterprise security guardrails and technical standards for development teams.
• Manage cloud cost optimization strategies and support financial governance of cloud resources.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph eligibility.
• Experience supporting cloud environments or enterprise IT systems within DoD or Intelligence Community settings.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Demonstrated expertise in enterprise system architecture principles.
• Relevant experience based on education level:
• Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience.
• No degree with 10+ years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC) space or counterspace mission systems.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or Security+).
• Experience with hybrid cloud, cross-domain solutions, or secure classified cloud environments.
