Cloud Enterprise Architect

Responsibilities

• Provide SETA support to deliver enterprise-level cloud architecture guidance across mission systems
• Ensure architectural consistency, interoperability, and integration across enterprise cloud solutions
• Develop and enforce architectural governance frameworks and decision records (ADRs)
• Lead security architecture reviews and support Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes via RMF
• Provide technical advisory support to government stakeholders on cloud adoption and vendor selection
• Contribute expertise in systems engineering lifecycle processes, MLOps, and Data Mesh architectures
• Define enterprise security guardrails and technical standards for development teams
• Manage cloud cost optimization strategies and support financial governance of cloud resources

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph eligibility
• Experience supporting cloud environments or enterprise IT systems within DoD or Intelligence Community settings
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Relevant experience based on education level:
• Master’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience
• No degree with 10+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting IC space or counterspace mission systems
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or Security+)
• Experience with hybrid cloud, cross-domain solutions, or secure classified cloud environments
