Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Google Cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Secure managed services for Data and Analytics workloads, including GCS, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Composer, and Dataproc.
• Develop and maintain automation pipelines to securely build and deploy applications and GCP infrastructure.
• Create monitoring dashboards and alerts to facilitate operational oversight of the platform.
• Collaborate with enterprise security and business application teams to define cloud architecture and best practices.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to resolve critical incidents involving GCP infrastructure or deployed applications.
• Design, test, and implement new technologies such as Databricks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• 3+ years of experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tooling.
• 3+ years of experience with container-based technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• 3+ years of experience using CI/CD tools.
• 3+ years of experience with configuration management tools and scripting languages (Ansible, Bash, or Groovy).
• 1+ year of experience in Dataproc implementation.
• University degree in a STEM field (Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or Management).
• Understanding of various database technologies including CloudSQL, NoSQL, and Relational databases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Cloud Associate certification.
