Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Implement and maintain IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services according to architecture standards
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or CloudFormation
• Configure and manage cloud networking components including VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, and load balancers
• Manage identity, access, and security controls through IAM and RBAC
• Support cloud migrations, modernization, and hybrid cloud integrations
• Work with DevOps teams to enable and optimize CI/CD pipelines
• Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and implement preventive improvements
• Monitor cloud environments for availability, performance, security, and cost optimization

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles
• Hands-on experience with at least one primary cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Solid understanding of cloud networking (VPC, VNet, Load Balancers, VPN, Peering)
• Experience managing cloud security services, firewalls, and IAM policies

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect certification
• AWS SysOps Administrator or Solutions Architect certification
• Google Cloud Associate Engineer certification
• Terraform Associate certification
