Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain Python/Django applications for web and backend systems
• Design, optimize, and maintain databases, ensuring efficient query execution
• Leverage AWS services to build scalable and secure cloud infrastructure
• Architect and implement solutions using EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and VPC
• Automate workflows and infrastructure using CloudFormation and CI/CD pipelines
• Manage and monitor cloud resources using CloudWatch and CloudTrail
• Work with analytics services like AWS Glue, Athena, Redshift, and Lake Formation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance performance

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in Django
• Strong database management skills with SQL and familiarity with RDS or DynamoDB
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Demonstrable experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, VPC)
• Knowledge of AWS security tools like IAM and KMS
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certification (Solutions Architect or Developer)
• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with Glue, Athena, and Redshift
• Exposure to modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
