Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement landing zones, VPC/VNet networking, IAM, and security baselines
• Provision and configure compute, storage, and database services using IaC
• Develop and maintain pipeline automation for app and infrastructure deployments
• Design and package applications with latest containerization and orchestration
• Configure logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting using SRE practices
• Produce cost-and-capacity reports with FinOps tooling
• Produce well-structured design documents, diagrams, and hand-over guides

Requirements

• 3–6 years experience in cloud solutions on at least one CSP (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
• Proficiency with Terraform or equivalent IaC tool and one scripting language
• Working knowledge of container runtime fundamentals
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and integrating DevSecOps controls
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability stacks and incident-management processes
• Cloud certifications on at least one CSP (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with serverless services, event-driven architectures, and microservice patterns
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI) and security hardening
