Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure using an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach with Terraform
• Build and manage modular, reusable Terraform codebases aligned to enterprise standards
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment
• Define and implement cloud architecture standards, reference patterns, and guardrails
• Implement and manage Azure services including compute, storage, networking, identity, and data services
• Partner with application, security, and data teams to ensure compliant cloud solutions (e.g., HIPAA)
• Establish and enforce policy-as-code and governance frameworks
• Continuously improve platform reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
• Support incident response and root cause analysis

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or platform engineering
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture
• Experience building and managing automated CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Azure identity (Azure AD) and security services
• Experience with GitOps and immutable infrastructure
• Proficiency in PowerShell or Python
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS)
• Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
