About the role
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of FinOps platform services, including APIs, backend services, and front-end applications
- Support the implementation of features related to cost analytics, optimization recommendations, and automation workflows
- Develop and test code using C#, React, and Python, focusing on clean and maintainable code
- Assist in containerizing applications using Docker and supporting cloud-native deployment models
- Participate in building and deploying applications using modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product, FinOps, and engineering teams to deliver features aligned with business objectives
- Support the integration of cloud cost, usage, and telemetry data from various APIs and systems
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in software engineering or application development
- Proficiency in C# / .NET, JavaScript (React), and Python
- Foundational understanding of REST APIs and JSON
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably Azure
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP) through professional projects or coursework
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) or DevOps concepts
- Knowledge of microservices or event-driven architectures
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts, scripting, or automation tools
- Interest in FinOps or cloud cost optimization
- FinOps Foundation Certification
