Cloud DevOps Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performance, cross-functional DevOps team and mentor engineers through hands-on guidance and structured feedback
• Design, implement, and operate DevOps practices and automation frameworks across Azure and AWS cloud platforms
• Drive a DevOps culture and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or CloudFormation to create predictable service catalogues
• Take hands-on ownership of CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and cloud delivery tooling
• Embed security, compliance, and governance controls into delivery pipelines (DevSecOps)
• Define and enforce DevOps standards, patterns, and best practices across multiple teams and environments
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure reliability, performance, and operational visibility

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering roles
• 8+ years of experience deploying and onboarding private, hybrid, or public cloud solutions
• Strong hands-on experience with both Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) core services
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Solid understanding of Git-based source control and modern branching strategies
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines for production, business-critical systems
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience leading DevOps or platform engineering initiatives in enterprise cloud environments
• Deep experience with Kubernetes platforms (AKS and/or EKS) in production
• Practical experience with multi-cloud Infrastructure as Code strategies
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices including secrets management and vulnerability scanning
• Advanced knowledge of cloud networking, including Azure Virtual WAN and Express Route
• Cloud certifications such as AZ-400, AZ-305, AWS Solutions Architect, or AWS DevOps Engineer
