Cloud DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Azure landing zones for experimentation and production-grade workloads, including management groups, subscriptions, and security guardrails.
• Implement hub-spoke networking, Private Link, firewalls, and cost governance aligned with regulated cloud requirements.
• Create self-service sandbox templates with auto-expiry and clear graduation paths into staging and production.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for applications, agents, and infrastructure-as-code using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Implement environment promotion mechanics including gate hooks, approvals, rollbacks, and model versioning.
• Manage container workflows using ACR, AKS, or Azure Container Apps, and integrate secrets management via Key Vault.
• Set up observability and telemetry plumbing using OpenTelemetry and Azure Monitor.

Requirements

• Hands-on Azure cloud engineering experience, including landing zones, RBAC, networking, and Azure Policy.
• Strong infrastructure-as-code experience with Bicep and/or Terraform.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline design and release management.
• Experience with containers (ACR, AKS/Container Apps), Key Vault, and secure deployment patterns.
• Understanding of MLOps/LLMOps or agent-ops concepts, including artifact versioning and deployment gates.
• Ability to work in regulated or security-conscious environments requiring high auditability and reliability.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, networking, identity, and pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with sovereign or government cloud environments, specifically UAE-based Azure regions.
• Exposure to Policy-as-code, GitOps practices, MLflow, or Azure AI Foundry.
• Experience supporting AI, agentic systems, or data-intensive workloads in production.
• Familiarity with SRE practices, SLOs, and incident management.
