Cloud Developer with Tanzu

Responsibilities

• Lead Java full stack development to build scalable, microservices-based web applications.
• Develop and implement both front-end (UI/UX) and back-end (server-side logic) features using Java, Spring Boot, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Architect and deploy applications to cloud platforms such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry/Tanzu.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage/troubleshoot them on OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.
• Design and implement Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, Ansible, Maven, and Bitbucket.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and designers within an Agile environment to deliver user-centric solutions.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development or a related role.
• Deep expertise in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL database management.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization.
• Proven ability to design and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Willingness to travel to unanticipated client locations within the US as required.
