Cloud Architect

Responsibilities

• Develop architectures, standards, and governance models specifically for the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform
• Manage hybrid infrastructure, including cloud servers, configuration, patching, and system monitoring
• Design and implement cloud networking solutions, including VLAN configuration
• Drive automation efforts using Terraform, Ansible, and API/CLI tools
• Oversee cloud security, FinOps, and observability (SLAs/SLOs/SLIs)
• Create detailed architecture documentation using tools like Visio or Abacus
• Support high availability, disaster recovery, and multi-cloud architecture strategies

Requirements

• 6–9 years of extensive experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• 4–6 years of experience in hybrid infrastructure management and cloud networking
• 4–6 years of experience in Cloud DevOps and automation
• Proficiency with Oracle database technologies including RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and Golden Gate
• Strong experience with automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• 2–3 years of experience in cloud security and architecture documentation
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
