Cloud Architect

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures to support global digital platforms and construction operations.
• Oversee backend infrastructure for mobile and web applications, maximizing Firebase capabilities and integrating them with broader cloud ecosystems.
• Ensure robust data management and synchronization between on-site engineering software (Revit, Tekla, Staad.pro) and centralized corporate databases.
• Implement stringent cloud security protocols, automated disaster recovery plans, and continuous system backups.
• Collaborate with software engineers, AI specialists, and mobile developers to optimize system performance and manage CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or Senior Cloud Engineer managing enterprise-level deployments.
• Deep technical expertise in major cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong command of backend-as-a-service (BaaS) environments like Firebase.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish.
• Experience bridging the gap between heavy structural engineering data and modern software execution.
