Cloud Architect – Full Stack Software Development

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-native and hybrid solutions.
• Translate complex business and technical requirements into robust cloud architectures and reference designs.
• Design and build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
• Develop modern frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and contemporary web frameworks.
• Build well-structured APIs (REST/GraphQL) and reusable service components.
• Partner on CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Drive cloud cost optimization, performance tuning, and security best practices.
• Act as a technical mentor for junior engineers and collaborate with globally distributed teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-12 years of software engineering experience with significant exposure to cloud-based systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proven experience building and running distributed, production-scale systems.
• Solid full-stack background including Java, Python, React, and TypeScript.
• Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis.
• Deep understanding of microservices architectures, Kubernetes, and container-based platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, networking, and observability platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog).

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to streaming platforms or data/analytics pipelines.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents.
