Cloud Application Deployment and Migration Specialist

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the migration of on-premises applications into Microsoft Azure-based environments
• Deploy and configure new COTS, OSS, and enterprise toolchain applications
• Develop and maintain deployment automation, configuration-as-code, and infrastructure-as-code artifacts
• Troubleshoot issues related to application hosting, performance, service availability, and integrations
• Establish operational procedures including maintenance windows, health monitoring, and upgrade planning
• Provide technical mentorship to junior team members and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders

Requirements

• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
• 4+ years of experience in computing administration, including Microsoft Active Directory
• 3+ years of experience deploying, administering, migrating, or operating enterprise applications
• 3+ years of experience supporting Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and/or open-source software
• 3+ years of experience designing architecture with industry-standard security technologies (e.g., encryption, certificates, MFA, SAML/SSO)
• Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience migrating enterprise applications from on-premises or VM-based environments to Microsoft Azure
• Experience supporting platforms such as Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Artifactory, or SonarQube
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, or Helm
• Current certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, or AWS Solutions Architect
