Cloud Advocate

Responsibilities

• Break down Aikido’s platform into clear, useful explanations for developers and security teams
• Turn complex cloud and security concepts (runtime, Kubernetes, etc.) into engaging content
• Create technical demos, walkthroughs, and deep dives
• Represent Aikido in cloud, DevOps, and security communities both online and in-person
• Speak at industry events such as KubeCon, AWS re:Inforce, and fwd:CloudSec
• Write blogs, guides, and research-driven content featuring real-world security insights
• Partner with product, growth, and sales teams to shape messaging and product direction
• Build and maintain relationships with engineers, security practitioners, and creators

Requirements

• Background in cloud engineering, DevOps, or cloud security
• Experience working with developer tools, infrastructure, or security products
• Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly in both written and spoken forms
• Experience creating technical content such as blogs, demos, talks, or GitHub repositories
• Comfortable engaging directly with technical audiences and communities
• A curious, hands-on mindset with the ability to learn and build quickly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a cloud security or DevSecOps company
• Background as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Technical Support Engineer
• An existing portfolio of conference talks, blogs, or a public technical presence
• Familiarity with real-world cloud security issues and incidents
