Close Protection Officer (CPO)

Responsibilities

• Provide close protection to principals during daily activities, travel, events, and residential movements
• Conduct dynamic and formal risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats
• Support secure transportation and movement planning
• Maintain a vigilant, professional, and unobtrusive presence
• Coordinate effectively with family members, household staff, and wider security teams
• Respond appropriately to emergencies, incidents, and changing threat environments
• Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and documentation
• Uphold strict confidentiality and professional standards at all times

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Close Protection experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting UHNW individuals or families
• Valid SIA Close Protection Licence
• Enhanced DBS clearance
• Valid medical qualification (FREC 3, FPOS, or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
• Ability to work shifts and travel throughout the UK with limited notice
• Strong understanding of threat assessment and emergency response procedures
