Clinician

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality gynecological and family planning medical care, including exams and testing
• Assess patient contraceptive needs and prescribe or dispense medications and devices as allowed by license
• Diagnose and treat sexually transmitted and gynecologic infections
• Evaluate, plan, and implement patient treatment plans, including referrals when necessary
• Perform microscopy, interpret laboratory results, and order additional tests or procedures
• Provide comprehensive patient education regarding contraception, reproductive health, pregnancy options, and abortion
• Maintain accurate medical record documentation and conduct regular chart audits
• Provide after-hours telephone triage and respond to patient concerns in person or via phone
• Act as a medical resource and provide in-service education for ancillary staff

Requirements

• Master's Degree in a relevant field
• Valid license as a Physician's Assistant, Nurse-Practitioner, or Certified Nurse Midwife
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medical record documentation
• Demonstrated commitment to advancing race equity and diversity, equity, and inclusion principles
