Their mission is to empower individuals and families to recover from addiction, trauma, mental illness, and other chronic medical conditions through comprehensive, integrated care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group psychoeducation and clinical counseling for addiction, trauma, and co-occurring mental health needs
  • Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and utilize ASAM criteria for clinical recommendations
  • Facilitate various groups including process groups, relapse prevention, anger management, and DBT/CBT skills
  • Collaborate with the medical and psychiatry team to establish integrated treatment plans
  • Conduct crisis intervention and de-escalation using trauma-informed approaches
  • Maintain thorough documentation in the Evolv electronic health record system
  • Manage clinical case management and discharge planning
  • Coordinate with insurance and payers for extension authorizations and clinical reviews

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
  • 2-3 years of experience in a substance use therapy program
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of community resources for aftercare placement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Substance Abuse Counseling Certificate Program completion
  • Experience with Evolv electronic health record system
