Clinician - Assessment and Referral/Intake

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, risk assessments, and diagnostic screenings
• Collaborate with clients to identify immediate needs and appropriate treatment pathways
• Coordinate with therapists, case managers, and medical providers to ensure seamless care transitions
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in electronic health record systems
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation using trauma-informed approaches
• Educate clients and families about available resources, treatment options, and next steps
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
• Current Nevada State clinical licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Clinical Intern, or equivalent) preferred
• Experience conducting clinical assessments in behavioral health, hospital, or community settings
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build trust quickly
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage crisis or combative patients
