Clinical Trial Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for clinical research studies in accordance with international and national guidelines (TGA, ICH-GCP, and NHMRC).
• Assist with study participant recruitment, including designing recruitment materials and conducting pre-screening activities.
• Draft and prepare ethics submissions, amendments, and other essential study communications.
• Design and maintain trial-specific databases, trackers, and electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
• Support onsite clinical study visits, telehealth appointments, and participant follow-ups.
• Perform routine research tasks including data collection, entry, and trial closure archiving.
• Assist with scientific/lab tests and manage clinical consumables and equipment orders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a health or science-related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and experience in building professional relationships.
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency with digital systems.
• A solid understanding of clinical sector confidentiality and data privacy.
