Clinical Teaching Associate

Responsibilities

• Support the Center for Clinical Excellence by developing, implementing, and evaluating strategies to improve clinical education quality and satisfaction
• Interface with clinical partners to identify and secure suitable sites and preceptors for clinical nursing courses
• Conduct periodic in-person visits to clinical sites to ensure educational standards
• Teach clinical courses and assist students in achieving course objectives
• Recruit, hire, and orient new clinical adjunct faculty
• Contribute to the school's inclusive excellence goals by fostering an equitable and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license (or eligibility for licensure in Oregon)
• Demonstrated expertise in clinical teaching and nursing education
• Strong commitment to student mentoring and inclusive pedagogy

Preferred Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or currently enrolled in an MSN program
• Recent experience in clinical nursing practice
• Experience in nursing student advisement or nursing education
