About the role
Responsibilities
- Observe teacher residents in K-12 partner school classrooms
- Provide coaching and formative feedback to interns and residents
- Conduct walkthroughs and evaluations aligned to Arkansas TESS and InTASC standards
- Collaborate with K-12 mentor teachers to evaluate resident performance
- Review lesson plans and student reflections
- Serve as a liaison between the university and partner school districts
- Maintain accurate documentation and assessment records
- Support residency completion requirements and collaborate with the Education Coordinator
Requirements
- Master’s Degree or higher in Education
- Active Arkansas Teaching License
- Commitment to an evangelical faith consistent with the religious beliefs of Southern Baptists
- Proficiency with Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Sheets
- Excellent coaching and interpersonal skills for mentoring adult learners
Preferred Qualifications
- Arkansas TESS Training
- DESE-Recognized Coaching Training
